We use Proclaim and OBS and church's FB account to livestream to FB. We also record the message and post it to YouTube. We want to livestream the message to a smart TV in another part of the church. How do we do that since we can't use FB? Thank you for any help!
- We send our service to a TV in the lobby using a Chromecast, Trade River Church. This may, or may not, work for you depending on your network. It requires an unused monitor that is connected to the computer with OBS and works like this: Right click on the OBS output and choose Full Screen Projector Preview>and your unused monitor. Open a web browser something like Brave or Chrome and click the settings button. On Chrome Cast is visible, but in the Brave browser it is under Tools. Click that. The click Sources in the popup and choose cast screen. Next click the Chromecast that you want to cast to and another popup will popup with the different screens that you have connected. Make sure that share system audio is on. Then click share. This will mute the audio to your soundboard, but you can merely unmute that. There is some latency, but since it is in a different part of your facility, you should be good to go. This has the advantage of being wireless, you won't have to run cables.
- We use Video Ninja, https://vdo.ninja/, with a Vivaldi, https://vivaldi.com/, browser on the OBS end to distribute the video feed internally to screens powered by a Chromebook. OBS is running on a Mac M1, Chrome was consuming a noticeable amount of system resources relative to other browsers so we switch to Vivaldi for Video Ninja and are happy with the results.
